Faw-volkswagen Changchun Engine Transmission Plant (EA211 engine Plant) is located in Changchun, Jilin Province. The plant was fully completed and put into operation in 2016, further strengthening FAW-Volkswagen's powertrain supply chain. EA211 engine factory has a high-precision machining center, world-class production lines and intelligent technology. It adopts Volkswagen Konzern production standard and mainly produces EA211 series engines based on Volkswagen's latest MQB platform, and reserves the capacity to produce 1.4L MPI, 1.2L TSI, 1.0L TSI and hybrid models.
